A Native of Louisville KY, James "Tim" Davis attended Kentucky State University on a music scholarship. While at KSU he served as a director of both the award-winning Concert Choir and the award-winning Gospel Ensemble. He also became a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
After earning a bachelor's degree in Music, James began working in the Franklin County Public School Systems in the field of Special Education. James has also worked with at-risk youth for the last 20 years. His dedication to youth inspired him to start his organization for youth called "JTDCREATIONS". Although the organization is in the very early stages, many events and programs have been successfully manifested to give the youth an alternative to the streets. Pyramid Ministries use "The Arts" to give youth a spiritual alternative to express themselves. James has written over 14 books, one of which he co-wrote with his mother, Juanita Elaine Ingram.
James brings not only his talents of being a songwriter, playwright, and talent coach to kingdom building but also his testimony. He has three plays to his credit, "My Past Almost Killed Me" (domestic abuse), "We Marched, We Fought, We died!" (Civil Rights), and "On the Verge of Extinction" (What Men Don't Talk About). He is currently working on his ଏrst Book "Nightmare of a Believer" which is a memoir that will detail his experiences of abuse, chronic depression, addiction, foster homes, shelters, forgiveness, and most of all triumph. He accepted his call to the ministry a few years ago and will be attending seminary shortly.
